JAYCAP-Juvenile Parole Bill
(Priming)
For youths who are tried and convicted as adults in our state, the path to freedom is notoriously difficult. This bill hopes to reduce a very serious bottleneck in our system. This bill removes a necessary governor's signature from parole board decisions. This would allow for a more effective and intuitive system for parole.

DOLA Support Accessibility Bill
(Priming)
According to the CDC 20% of Coloradans live with a disability. Coloradans with disabilities represent a large portion of Colorado's economy and spending power. This bill allows the Department of Local Affairs (DOLA) to act as a resource to collect and share information with all businesses looking to increase their accessibilities to costumers with disabilities.
Airports
House District 37 houses the largest general airport in the United States, in the Centennial Airport. The busy nature of the airport leads to interference with the daily lives of residents close by. We are developing ongoing incentives to reduce pollution caused by the fuel used by the general airport. Additionally noise has been a big concern, we are working to also tackle that issue.
TRAP Bill
(Priming)
It is estimated that 10% of the work force is under a TRAP agreement. These agreements are typically used for higher skilled professions; law-enforcement, engineers, pilots, and nurses, and typically involves a payment plan. This bill requires proper accreditation before being able to offer TRAP to employees and prospective hires.
Indoor Air Quality
(Priming)
There's no reason that our air quality indoors has to be as bad as it can get outside, especially during wildfire season. In my career I have seen buildings with proper filtration systems around the world, which are capable of turning the worst air quality possible into quality breathable air. This bill would look to upgrade filtration systems across Colorado, so we can experience that same quality air inside.
State Employee Payroll Deductions Bill
(Priming)
A wide gap in the state employees benefits system is that the state cannot currently offer non-healthcare payroll deductions. This bill will expand the options available for voluntary deductions to receive additional benefits, such as long-term care insurance, group auto-insurance and/or home insurance for state employees.
